I am a Consultant Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) .  I have worked in mental health for many years both in the NHS and in private practice.  

I specialise and have strong expertise in working with ageing and older adults.  This includes many facets including general mental health difficulties, trauma. cognition and dementia, adjustment, physical health challenges and supporting carers.

I also have experience of working with those who have experienced fertility difficulties and those who identify as being childless not by choice and this has also become a special interest in my work particularly for those who are ageing and/or older who are childless.

As a clinical psychologist I also work in many ways beyond that of 1:1 work.  This includes research (see publications section of website), provision of training, consultation to services and organisations and I'm passionate about developing services and society to create more inclusive communities.
